The Rio Rancho Art Association is very busy, setting up shows in various venues in the area and our big Gallery Tour is going to be held April 26th and 27th from 10 am to 4 pm all over Rio Rancho. It will be great and there will be brochures and maps to help you get around. Greeting Centers are located at Rio Vista Park and Haynes Park and Pool where you can get all the info you need. Come out and have a fun time meeting artists in their studios, you will love it.

- A NM artist, Max loves the landscape, light and colors of the high desert. She enjoys creating art out of many different media, digital photography and computer graphics being the top among them. She also has done collage, mosaics, metal sculpture, clay, jewelry, design, and mixed media. She graduated from the University of West Florida (Pensacola)in 1975 with a BA in Art and Education. Max spent 17 yrs. as a high school art teacher in Florida before moving to NM to work on projects of her own. Max lives in New Mexico with her husband Wayne and her cat Roxy.
